Hello Diana,

I suspect the drying out of the leaves on your bay tree is caused by one of two things or possibly both.

Obviously watering is important, especially if it is being grown in a pot. Make sure it gets regularly watered, do not let the compost dry out but also do not allow the compost/soil to become waterlogged.

Where is the bay tree situated? Is it exposed to strong winds? This can cause the leaves to dry out and turn brown. If possible move it to a location with some shelter.
