This species of Tobacco Plant is a perennial, but in the U.K. it is usually grown as an annual bedding plant because it is not frost hardy. From late summer and into autumn, long, tube-shaped, strongly fragrant, white flowers are produced. Nicotiana sylvestris has bright green, very large leaves.
