Magnolia stellata is one of the slowest growing, and smallest of the Magnolias, this makes it an ideal choice for a small garden. It produces pure white flowers in spring. The arrangement of the white petals around the centre of the flower give this plant it’s common name; the complete flower, from a distance resembling a star. Light green leaves follow the flowers. When planting, any site with some shelter from strong, cold winds is ideal.
